BEATRICE, Neb.- Encore introduced a lightweight walk-behind aerator for commercial-duty jobs. This is an aerator with no add-on weights or water drums. Instead, the aerating tines are driven with machine action similar to an engine crank shaft, each revolution driving the tines into the ground.

The Power-Plug has a 30" aerating width, the 5/8" diameter tines are adjustable to approximately 2 3/4" deep, sufficient to loosen a compacted surface but shallow enough to avoid excessive loss of soil moisture.
