Poligon Park Sponsors Design Competition

Poligon Park Architecture, a leading provider of tubular steel shelters, announced its second annual ?EUR??,,????'??Reflecting Place?EUR??,,????'?? shelter design competition. The competition is being held in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and the theme is ?EUR??,,????'??Southeastern Gardens.?EUR??,,????'?? The competition invites teams of all sizes with at least one active ASLA member to design a shelter, trellis, or pergola that both echoes and enhances its natural surroundings. The winning shelter will be manufactured, featured at Poligon's ASLA Expo Show Booth and donated to a city chosen by the winning design team. ?EUR??,,????'??We totally enjoyed the entire process,?EUR??,,????'?? says Jan Striefel of Landmark Design, Inc., the Salt Lake City, Utah firm that took top honors in 2004. Their winning design, A Western Skyline, was donated by Poligon to Salt Lake City and is scheduled to be erected at Wasatch Hollow park this year.
