Beauty. Durability. Pride. by Keziah Olsen, LASN
PLP Composites has been hand-crafting the finest composite/fiberglass flagpoles and light poles in New Hampshire since 1968. In fact, PLP pioneered the use of composites in the flagpole industry and has stayed with our tried-and-true methodology from the beginning. While others have gone to the use of machine-driven filament-winding processes, our craftspeople build each pole with care and pride. The result is a pole free of ugly and damaging seams and visible textured strands of fiber, so they last much longer and look more beautiful doing so. While other materials rot, rust, corrode, oxidize, and otherwise discolor, fiberglass looks and performs like new for ages, fighting the elements like no other material can. That is why the boating industry nearly universally employs fiberglass for their hulls! If it looks that good in water, think how great it will look around town!
