MARIETTA, GA ?EUR??,,????'??? The Professional Lawn Care Association of America (PLCAA) and the Associated Landscape Contractors of America (ALCA) have announced an agreement for PLCAA to administrate the regulatory affairs for both associations. The firm of DC Legislative and Regulatory Affairs (DCLRS) will be retained for Washington, D.C.-based activities, while PLCAA?EUR??,,????'???s Tom Delaney, vice president of legislative affairs, will coordinate the two associations legislative programs from the PLCAA headquarters in Marietta, Georgia. In the announcement of the agreement, Gary Clayton, PLCAA executive vice president, said: ?EUR??,,????'??The two associations mutual and allied issues will be managed collectively to best serve these industries, The monitoring of industry legislation and regulations, lobbying efforts, Web-based association member communications, and legislative events designed to involve our members in government affairs are considered paramount to our industries.?EUR??,,????'?? Debra Holder, ALCA executive vice president, commented: ?EUR??,,????'??ALCA is very excited about partnering with PLCAA on this project of mutual interest to our membership. The regulatory affairs of the associations will be stewarded by Tom Delaney, a PLCAA veteran who has championed legislative issues that impact the industry.
