Playworld Systems Named among Top 100 Best Places to Work in PA

Playworld Systems??????oe, Inc., a family-owned business founded in 1952 that has become one of the five largest recreation equipment manufacturers in the U.S., was recently named as one of the 100 Best Places to Work in PA. The award program, created in 2000, is a partnership of the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, Team Pennsylvania Foundation, Kuntz Lesher LLP, Central Penn Business Journal, the Great Place to Work Institute, and the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry.

Approximately 184 companies were entered, categorized by size of company: medium-sized companies (50-250 employees), and large companies (more than 250 employees). The evaluation was two-part: examining workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics; and evaluating employee survey results and comments. 18,466 PA employees filled out the Great Place to Work survey.
