NALP Discusses the State and Impact of the Plant Shortage by Staff
As a result of raw materials and labor being in limited supply, many industries have experienced shortages of essential goods and products, and, in landscape, one of the more notable shortages has been plants. The National Association of Landscape Professionals posted a report of the plant shortage which looked at the plants between the north and south halves of the country. It was found that the plants that are experience the greatest impact of the shortage in the south are perennials, shrubs, and ornamental grasses and in the north, trees and conifers were in the shortest supply.
