According to local reports, on July 27, 2009 the Russellville Planning Commission voted 4-1 to table amending the city?EUR??,,????'?????<???EUR?s zoning code regarding landscaping requirements for businesses. The proposed changes to the zoning code have been tabled five times since January. The board has now tabled the measure for one year.
The planning commission vice president pointed to all the vacant businesses establishments in Russellville and the basic feeling that attaching additional landscaping requirements for businesses doesn?EUR??,,????'?????<???EUR?t make sense in this economy.
The one dissenting planning commissioner desired at least grassy areas for businesses.
