PLANET Names President and Officers for 2005

Dan Foley, CLP, president of the Professional Landcare Network (PLANET).

The Professional Landcare Network (PLANET)-the merger of the Associated Landscape Contractors of America and the Professional Lawn Care Association of America-has announced its slate of leadership for 2005. The new board was installed during PLANET's executive forum, February 10-13, 2005, in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.

Dan Foley, CLP, of D. Foley Landscape, Inc., in South Walpole, Mass. is president. Mr. Foley began his landscape maintenance business in 1987 while a sophomore in college. Today, his company generates about $3 million a year through commercial landscape maintenance and snow services.

Foley joined ALCA in 1992. In 1997, he volunteered to be on the membership committee and has participated on other committees, including safety/insurance, marketing and education. He has also served on the ALCA Exterior Council and Board of Directors.
