The annual grassroots event is an opportunity for PLANET members, state associations, supplier members, and other PLANET partners to come together across the country for a day of giving back to their communities through volunteer landscape, lawn care, or tree care projects. ?EUR??,,????'?????<?????????????????We know the green industry is committed to serving their communities,?EUR??,,????'?????<????????????????? said PLANET President Jason Cupp, CLP. ?EUR??,,????'?????<?????????????????This is a great way to show that commitment to the nation and to educate the public about the importance of caring for our green spaces.?EUR??,,????'?????<?????????????????
Planetdayofservice.org is a one-stop shop for members organizing their Day of Service events. They can register their company and project there, as well as see, via an interactive map, the locations of the events as people register them. The Web site also contains project ideas and tips on planning and running events.
?EUR??,,????'?????<?????????????????If members aren?EUR??,,????'?????<???????????????????????(R)?EUR??,,????'????t able to create their own event, they can look at the list of registered events and volunteer somewhere else in their region,?EUR??,,????'?????<????????????????? said Richard Heller, CLP, CLT, chair of the public relations committee. ?EUR??,,????'?????<?????????????????We designed the Web site to be user friendly to make the planning of a PLANET Day of Service event as easy as possible.?EUR??,,????'?????<?????????????????
