JANESVILLE, WI

A leading commercial and consumer playground equipment company recently participated in the dedication of the new Plains Recreational Center in Plains, GA. The donators of the project and coordinators of the fundraising drive were Former President Jimmy Carter and his wife Rosalyn. As part of the annual Plains Peanut Festival they led the ceremony that cut the ribbon on the new facility and its much anticipated new play structuree produced by the GameTime division of PlayCore.

The new playground features several of the most innovative GameTime products today. GameTime's MegaRock® climber and Big Foot ® Slide stand out in the vibrantly colored PowerScape structure. The MegaRock offers little adventurers a realistic mountain climbing action while the Big Foot provides three unique slides in one. GameTime also introduced a new Tire Swing that comfortably allows several children to swing together.

The new complex initially includes a playground, picnic areas, basketball courts, swimming pools, and bathhouse. The center was designed to provide a safe recreational complex to all Plains and Sumter County citizens.
