PIA Hosts Living Wall Workshop

As the sustainability movement continues to grow landscape professionals are evolving their businesses to meet the needs of the client, which includes learning the latest design trends, such as living walls.

The Plantscape Industry Alliance (PIA) together with Sunborne Nursery will host a living wall workshop on Saturday, May 4th in San Francisco, California from 9 am to 5 pm.

Several living wall companies, such as Tournesol Siteworks, Live Wall LLC, and AgroSci will be participating in the interactive presentation. Workshop attendees will listen to an hour and fifteen minute presentation from each living wall company, learning about that system's features, installation tips, how the irrigation system works, fertilization, how to troubleshoot the system, common post-installation concerns and design considerations when using each type of living wall system.

Attendees will also receive a guided tour of the Sunborne Nursery greenhouse. The living walls workshop costs $165 for members and $206 for non-members.
