The Professional Grounds Management Society (PGMS) will be hosting the first of its 2007 Regional Grounds Management Seminar & Site Visitation series in Asheville, N.C. on March 22-23. Headlining the event will be a behind-the-scenes tour of one of the country?EUR??,,????'?????<???EUR?s premier grounds management programs: The Biltmore Gardens and Estate. Launched last year, this series of seminars is designed to provide grounds managers with the hard-to-find opportunity to gain knowledge, ask questions, and network with others about challenges and issues specific to their profession. The tour of the Biltmore will provide attendees with an insider?EUR??,,????'?????<???EUR?s look at best grounds maintenance practices at the country?EUR??,,????'?????<???EUR?s most well-known and visited country estate. Those attending the seminar will also get a firsthand look at the grounds operation at the North Carolina Arboretum. The schedule will be jam-packed with informative education sessions on several crucial grounds management topics. These sessions will provide managers with valuable ideas for their grounds operation and tips on developing into a leader at their organization.
