A former superintendent and director at world-renowned golf courses has been recently named the new agronomist at Floratine, a manufacturer of foliar and soil-based turfgrass solutions. Paul Ramina joins the company following a long career in the golf industry, including more than 20 years as a superintendent. During his tenure, the golf courses cared for by Ramina and his crews hosted four PGA and five LPGA tours, among numerous other golf events. He holds a degree in golf course management from the Institute of Applied Agriculture at the University of Maryland. As corporate agronomist, Ramina will be working with customers to evaluate their turfgrass and soil conditions to help them develop the most optimal nutrition programs available, according to Kevin Cavanaugh, Floratine CEO.
