Justin, Texas--Richard Petty joined Hustler Turf Equipment staff and the Mow for Victory Tour team at Texas Motor Speedway on April 15, for a press conference with over 100 media representatives.
The press conference was seen on Fox television and was featured in the Dallas Morning News, among others. The Mow for Victory Tour is currently in Mississippi and will proceed to Alabama, Georgia and North Carolina. Petty will join the tour team on May 26 at Lowe's Motor Speedway for a press conference before the team arrives at Victory Junction Gang Camp in Randleman, NC for its final lap on May 28.
Hustler Turf Equipment is driving a Super Z?EUR??,,????<??? lawnmower that has been custom painted to resemble Richard Petty's #43 Dodge NASCAR race car, across America to raise money for the Victory Junction Gang Camp. The ?EUR??,,????'??Mow for Victory Tour?EUR??,,????'?? started on February 26th, 2005, in Fontana, Calif. and will end on May 28th, 2005, at the camp in Randleman, NC.

Victory Junction Gang Camp is a year-round, racing-themed camp in Randleman, North Carolina, just outside of Greensboro. The camp serves campers ages 7 to 15 who have chronic or life-threatening illnesses that might not otherwise be able to go to summer camp. Each week-long session of 125 campers is organized into disease-specific groups.
The Victory Junction Gang Camp serves kids with hemophilia, rheumatoid arthritis, cancer, spina bifida, kidney diseases, asthma, sickle cell disease, burn survivors, skin disease, heart disease, epilepsy, and immune disorders. Children attend the camp free of charge. The camp is entirely funded by contributions.
Victory Junction Gang Camp was launched in 2000 by NASCAR driver Kyle Petty and his wife Pattie in honor of their son Adam Petty who proposed the idea for the camp in 1998. Adam was killed in a racing accident in 2000. The camp is part of the network of Hole-inthe-Wall-Gang camps founded by Paul Newman in 1988.
