Pest Managers Convention Nears

Pest management professionals will visit New Orleans in mid-October to attend Pestworld 2011.

PestWorld 2011, the annual convention of the National Pest Management Association, will be held October 19-22 in New Orleans.

The convention will feature targeted information on the latest products, services, technologies, and business applications, persons affiliated with the pest management industry.

According to the association, Pestworld attendees will have the opportunity to: network with more than 3,000 other pest management professionals, researchers and vendors from around the world; discover the latest business trends and learn how to apply these innovative ideas into your business; earn valuable recertification credits at educational sessions led by world-renowned experts; find solutions for your business in the largest pest management industry trade show in the world, showcasing the newest products, services, and technologies in pest management; and understand how legislative and regulatory issues will shape and influence the industry.

The National Pest Management Association (NPMA), a non-profit organization with more than 7,000 members from around the world, was established in 1933 to support the pest management industry's commitment to the protection of public health, food and property. This commitment is reflected both in the continuing education of pest management professionals and the dissemination of timely information to homeowners and businesses.
