The international, Park(ing) Day is set for September 15th.
Park(ing) Day, now in its 17th year, will be held on Friday, September 15th and focus on pollinators like butterflies and bees.
This event is a way for the industry to educate the public on not only the theme of that year but the importance of landscape architecture in communities. Park(ing) Day is a global event that acts to utilize parking spaces in a more sustainable way. The program was developed to reprogram vehicular space in an artistic way.
ASLA chapters across the country will host the event locally but the National chapter will also be sharing the event across their social media platforms.
