The event, sponsored in part by Kompan A/S, a leading designer, manufacturer, and marketer of playground equipment based in Denmark, will bring together an international panel of designers and play experts, including Helle Burlingame, director of Kompan?EUR??,,????'???s North American Play Institute. Burlingame expects the forum to generate ideas for better use of public space and bettering the lives of urban children.

Author Susan Solomon will propose a vision for the future of recreational spaces while highlighting several modern examples constructed during the past decade by a select group of architects, landscape architects and sculptors.

This discussion will be moderated by Liane Lefaivre from the University of Applied Art in Vienna.
