OSHA Safety Publications Are Free

 

Employers are required to continually display in a conspicuous place a poster prepared by the Department of Labor informing employees of their protections under OSHA.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration says that some employers are reporting having received official looking announcements and in some cases threatening notices saying that people must purchase OSHA documents from them in order to remain in compliance. The most popular document being offered for sale is the ?EUR??,,????'??OSHA Workplace Poster?EUR??,,????'?? which is also available in Spanish. OSHA says all its publications are free of charge and fears that some employers may be victims of fraudulent solicitations, which would mean extra costs to them.
