SANTA ANA, Calif.?EUR??,,????'????EUR??,,????'??? The Orange County Chapter of the California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA) honored some of the county?EUR??,,????'???s best landscape projects, and their designers, recently at the 45th annual Beautification Awards dinner. Over 50 of the county?EUR??,,????'???s top landscape contractors submitted projects for award consideration within a number of different categories including residential, commercial, maintenance and lighting. The top three award winners of the evening included Visionscapes, Richard Taylor & Associates, and Wade Landscape. Of the forty award winning landscape projects recognized, the Sweepstakes award was presented to landscape contractor/designer Ruben Flores and his company Visionscapes Inc., for the Skirball residence of Corona Del Mar. Designed in a Mediterranean old-world style, the project features an abundance of lush greenery woven among beds of colorful perennials and exquisite water features. The association honored Visionscapes with the chapters highest award recognition of the year. Top honors were also bestowed upon the Presidents award winner Richard Taylor & Associates for his work on the Gray/Conrad residence of Newport Coast and the Judges award winner, Wade Landscape for the Bridges residence of Newport Coast. Other big winners of the evening included Costa Mesa-based Earthscaping with six category wins including landscape installation and maintenance; Wade Landscape with five category wins and BK Landscape with three category wins in lighting. Residential properties were not the only award winners of the evening, commercial projects including the International Center at Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, the Shea Vantis building in Aliso Viejo and Saddleback Church in Lake Forest were also recognized as outstanding projects in landscape design, maintenance and/or installation. The chapter also recognized Marriott?EUR??,,????'???s Newport Coast Villas and the apartments of Mediterranean Village for their commitment to continued landscape maintenance.
