Coldwell Banker's annual home listing report compared the affordability of buying 4-bedroom, 2-bath homes across the country. This year, the bank evaluated 1,900 markets and 52,000 listings.

Coldwell found the least expensive area to buy a 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom home in the U.S. is Cleveland, just a short drive to the shores of Lake Erie. Not exactly a water-front home, but such a home configuration in Cleveland, on average, will only set you back $63,729, about the price of a new Cadillac CTS-V.

2nd least expensive: Garfield Heights, Ohio: $66,000. Garfield Heights (pop. 28,849) is southeast of Cleveland.

3rd least expensive: Flint, Michigan: $84,000. Flint (pop. 102,434) is 66 miles northwest of Detroit, and of course the "birthplace" of GM.

4th least expensive: Saginaw, Michigan: $87,000. Saginaw (pop. 51,508) was also GM dominated back in the '60s and '70s.

5th least expensive: Jackson, Mississippi: $94,000. Jackson (pop. 184,256) is the state's largest city. It's located on the Pearl River, and sits atop an extinct (we hope) volcano.
