FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif. ?EUR??,,????'??? The National Water Research Institute and the United States Bureau of Reclamation designated the West Basin Water Recycling Plant as the newest member of The National Centers for Water Treatment Technologies program. The National Centers program was established in 1994 to address the need for adequate water supply, treatment, and reclamation within the United States and abroad. Specializing in membrane technologies, the Centers are open to investigators interested in pursuing water-purification research. Ronald Linsky, Executive Director of NWRI, said that the West Basin Recycling Plant was chosen as a National Center because of its pioneering work with water reclamation and recycling and because of its forward-thinking efforts in desalination.
