by Staff

In their 2022 Engagement With Parks Report, the NRPA asked 1,000 people what they thought about their local parks and recreation services.

In a survey of 1,000 Americans 18 or older, the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) found that 90 percent of adults valued their local parks and recreation services. The survey reported that people value public parks and recreation equally when compared to other government-provided public services like roads or police protection.
