The National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) announced four new members to their Board of Directors for the 2023-2024 term. NRPA Board Chair Carolyn McKnight Fredd, CPRP, and NRPA President and CEO Kristine Stratton welcomed the new members, acknowledging their expertise across various sectors. According to Kristine Stratton, the aim is to "elevate the field of parks and recreation and drive continued impact and change across the United States."

 
The four new members are:
- AP Diaz - Superintendent, Seattle Parks and Recreation
- Ben Page - Director, Des Moines Park and Recreation Department
- Kathryn Ott Lovell - President and CEO, Philadelphia Visitor Center Corporation
- Tiffany White - LaPierre, CPRE, AFO - Senior Planner, MIG

The term for the 2023-2024 Board of Directors will commence on October 9, 2023.
