Director Sams Visits Florida National Parks
The Nation Park Service Director, Chuck Sams, visited national parks in southern Florida, and during his visit, he evaluated the parks and certain projects that were taking place. While experiencing Big Cypress National Preserve, Sams noted that Western flows of clean water must be restored. Sams also visited a $20 million infrastructure project in Gulf Coast within Everglades National Park that is said to "make the site more resilient to sea level rise due to climate change."
