The National Precast Concrete Association (NPCA) announces changes to the 2014 Precast Show, which will be held at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas, February 13th to 16th.

NPCA Chairman of the Board, Mimi Rainero Coles, said "After listening to member concerns about the length of the trade show and time away from the plant, we've compressed the schedule to provide all of the same great features of The Precast Show in less time."

Although the NPCA has decreased the number of trade show days, the number of trade show hours has been increased to 16.5 hours, with 12.5 uninterrupted hours (with no conflicting education or training).

Show Highlights:

  • Plant Tour will be held Wednesday afternoon, which will enable members east of the Mississippi River to travel to Houston on Wednesday morning and arrive in time for the tour
  • Awards programs and the Pinnacle competition will take place on the trade show floor
  • Free lunch buffet on the trade show floor Friday and Saturday
