Northern Green Expo Nears

The annual Northern Green Expo will be held Jan. 4-6, 2012 at the Minneapolis Convention Center in Minneapolis, Minn.

The show features exhibits and seminars geared primarily toward installation professionals. Past attendees by segment include: landscape contractors, 22 percent; landscape designers, 19 percent; hardscape installers, 18 percent; garden centers, 15 percent; nursery growers, 14 percent and landscape maintenance, 11 percent.

Seminars offered at the 2012 show include: Diagnosing & Correcting Nutritional Soil Disorders in Landscape Plants, Raingarden Maintenance, Sales Tax Issues and the Green Industry, Insecticide Options and Application Techniques for Management of Wood Boring Insects and Value-Added BioProducts for the Nursery and Landscape Industry.
