NJLCA Aids in Trade Center Tragedy
HO-HO-KUS, N.J.- The New Jersey Landscape Contractors Association (NJLCA) has established the Twin Towers Fund to aid the families of fire fighters, policemen and other uniformed rescue services.
NJLCA has provided $10,000 to the Twin Towers Fund and has sent a letter to its members as well as reaching out to over 4,000 green industry professionals--vendors, suppliers and landscape contractors within New Jersey. NJLCA has also contacted the Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) to offer manpower and equipment in its cleanup effort.
Contributions in any amount are being accepted. All of the proceeds will go directly to helping the families of the fire fighters, police and uniformed services lost during the World Trade Center disaster. Checks should be made payable to Twin Towers Fund, c/o NJLCA, PO Box 604, Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ 07423.
