OAKLAND, Calif. - The National Football League season came to an end Sunday for Ohio State University Landscape Architecture graduate Eddie George and his Tennessee Titans teammates, as they fell to the Oakland Raiders 41-24 in the AFC Championship game. George, still possibly feeling the effects of a concussion he suffered last week against the Pittsburgh Steelers rushed for only 67 yards and caught one pass for nine yards. The Raiders, led by quarterback Rich Gannon who threw for three touchdowns and ran one in himself will face former head coach Jon Gruden and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers next Sunday in San Diego for Super Bowl XXXVII. It will be Oakland's first time in the Super Bowl since 1984, while Tampa Bay will make its first appearance in franchise history.
