New York Landscape Architects to Honor Christo and Jeanne-Claude

 

Christo and Jeanne-Claude will be honored by the New York chapter of the ASLA for their public art project ?EUR??,,????'??The Gates.?EUR??,,????'??

Environmental artists Christo and Jeanne-Claude made headlines last February when they erected their public art project, ?EUR??,,????'??The Gates?EUR??,,????'?? in Central Park. Millions of people visited the park to see 7,532 bright orange gates that stretched over 23 miles of park pathways in America?EUR??,,????'??? most famous urban landscape.

On Nov. 3, the New York chapter of the ASLA will honor the designers at the President?EUR??,,????'???s Award Dinner at the Loeb Boathouse in Central Park. An awards ceremony will be held following a reception and dinner.
