New Variety of Kentucky Bluegrass Available

CORVALLIS, Ore. - Seed Research of Oregon (SRO) recently announced the release of Showcase Kentucky Bluegrass as a new grass seed variety. SRO says Showcase features a compact growth habit which allows it to tolerate fairway mowing heights of 1/5 inch or 25mm with ease, and the grass is also a "strong performer in the shade."

Early spring green-up and "excellent fall color" are also cited as the new variety's strong points.
