New Training Program Exclusive to Rain Bird Products

A factory trained program provides Rain Bird Central Control System professionals with expert training and marketable assets.

Rain Bird Services Corporation has announced a new training program that focuses specifically on Rain Bird commercial and golf course central control system installation, operation and maintenance. The Rain Bird Factory Trained Program is designed to help landscape contractors build their skills and open up new opportunities.

''Contractors who participate in our Factory Trained Program receive high-level and in-depth training on central control system features and installation best practices,'' said Robert Pfeil, services marketing group manager. ''They also receive a valuable designation that they can use to market their expertise.''

The courses in the Factory Trained Program feature practical, hands-on training exercises to reinforce information learned in the classroom. After completing a course, students take an exam to test key knowledge areas. Designations are awarded to individuals who pass the exam. The Factory Trained Program offers professionals a chance to earn Installer, Operator and Technician designations across the complete line of central control products for commercial and golf applications.

The Factory Trained Operator courses instruct professional contractors, superintendents or water managers on the powerful features of Rain Bird Central Control products and how those features can help them efficiently manage system and water resources. The courses hone the skills of maintenance professionals who are in charge of maintaining the manufacturer's central control system, enabling them to diagnose system problems quickly and easily.
