A new feature in Xora's mobile workforce management tool, StreetSmart™, is designed to streamline mileage and expense submission and analysis.

Xora, Inc., recently announced that the latest release of its flagship fleet management system will include an app they say will help companies better manage and analyze mileage costs, billing and reimbursements.

Called Mileage Manager, its intended function is to let mobile workers track and submit mileage and related trip expenses more easily than before, and to give managers greater visibility into expected versus actual routes by comparing odometer, GPS and Google-suggested routes.???(R)???AE'?N????e'?N,A+ The new tool supports IRS requirements with configurable trip categories, purpose and reimbursement rates.

The overall system is a suite of configurable mobile apps, plus a web-based management application. The apps work with any mobile phone or tablet. The management application is designed to let managers and office personnel analyze performance for better decision-making.

Mobile timesheets and forms, and photo and electronic-signature capture to provide proof of service are also part of the new system.

In addition, this most recent release includes a device status log, new device battery level indicators and alerts designed to enable managers to proactively identify and resolve issues that arise with mobile devices in the field.
