New Seed Exemplifies Wisconsin Program's Mission GREEN BAY, WI - ENCAP has started production of an all-in-one grass seed product called EncapSeed. Together, the plant and the seed product make ENCAP a prime example of Wisconsin's Focus on Energy program. Wisconsin Focus on Energy is an innovative government-industry partnership working to increase energy efficiency while saving businesses money. Wisconsin's 23-county pilot program is likely to become a national model for energy savings initiatives. The patented technology individually encapsulates premium grass seeds in a blanket of mulch containing recycled paper fiber (made from recycled office paper) with soil conditioners, fertilizers and a growth-enhancing agent. "Our 'green' corporate philosophy is producing noticeable cost-savings for us and our growing customer base," said ENCAP LLC's President/ CEO Mike Krysiak.
