New President in Texas Aveton succeeds Davis DALLAS, Tx. - The new President of the Texas Chapter ASLA is Noel J. Aveton. He replaces Chad Davis who is still involved in legislative affairs regarding the practice of landscape architecture in Texas and working with the Texas Chapter on CEU credit courses for chapter members. Aveton graduated from Louisiana State University in 1995 with a Bachelors of Landscape Architecture. Since joining The SWA Group in the beginning of 1997, he has been involved in the master planning, design, construction documentation and construction administration for a variety of projects both locally and internationally. Suzanne C. Sweek was nominated to State Treasurer of the Texas Chapter ASLA. She is an associate with the firm of Schrickel, Rollins and Associates, Arlington, Texas.
