PLANET, the national trade association that represents more than 100,000 landscape industry professionals, has announced Norman Goldenberg (above) as their newest government relations consultant.

The Professional Landcare Network has announced that it has hired Norman Goldenberg, Landscape Industry Certified, to join its public affairs team, as State Affairs Consultant.

Goldenberg is a past-president of PLANET and past chair of PLANET's Government Relations Committee
with decades of industry experience, most recently as senior vice president of government relations at Terminix International and TruGreen. Goldenberg left to start a consulting practice called NAMRON Business
Associates, Inc.

"Norman is incredibly knowledgeable about the issues facing the lawn care and landscape industries," said Jim McCutcheon, Landscape Industry Certified, PLANET president. "With his deep knowledge and years in public affairs and government relations, he will be a huge asset to the PLANET and to the industry."

PLANET tackles a wide range of regulatory issues at the state and federal level. Goldenberg is expected to focus on some of the many issues at the state level.

"Norman has been a passionate advocate for the industry for many years," said Sabeena Hickman, CAE, CMP, PLANET CEO. "His knowledge, along with his extensive industry and government contacts, makes him the perfect person to attack our public affairs issues head-on."
