PITTSBURGH, Penn. - The owners of two new inventions that could impact the landscaping/lawncare industry have applied for patents, according to Pittsburgh's Invention Submission Corporation (ISC).

The inventions, which could recieve patents by 2003, are:

- Trim Assembly for Riding Lawn Mower CIL-1711

This assembly attachment would simultaneously trim the edges and cut the lawn to eliminate the need for fatiguing, time-consuming edge trimming units, according to ISC.

- Automatic Grass Cutter TOR-6301

This lawn care system would cut grass to a desired length automatically, without the need for programming or remote robotic units, effectively eliminating the need for a lawn mower, according to ISC.

Although ISC could not legally reveal more information about the inventions at press time, both inventions are currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers and marketers.

For more information call ISC at (412) 288-1300, ext.1368, or visit www.isc-online.com.
