New Integrated Water Management Courses

Green Roofs for Healthy Cities’ “CitiesAlive” 9th Annual Green Roof and Wall Conference presents a series of professional courses on the methodologies for production, conservation, storage and use of water resources for green roofs and walls.

The “Integrated Water Management for Buildings and Sites Educational” series has been expanded to include a more in-depth look at the technological innovations of real-world projects.

“We’re focusing on projects that exemplify integrated site and building water management with a goal of net zero water,” said Jeffrey Bruce, chair of Green Roofs for Healthy Cities.

The first course in the series—“Integrated Water Management for Buildings and Sites”—focuses on the costs/benefits, design and engineering practices, and installation/maintenance requirements of integrated water management. The course will be held in Philadelphia, November 30th, 2011, and is also available online through the Living Architecture Academy https://grhc.sclivelearningcenter.com.
