 New Forest Preserve President Elected

MILWAUKEE, Ill. - At a special meeting on Monday, December 4, the Lake County Forest Preserve Board of Commissioners elected their new President and Vice President. Al Westerman was elected President, and Carol Calabresa, Forest Preserve President during the past two years, was elected Vice President. Both will serve a two-year term.

As the newly elected Forest Preserve leadership team, Westerman and Calabresa will oversee 22,190 acres of Forest Preserve land, 160 full-time and 330 part-time seasonal employees, and an $82 million budget.
