Schréder Lighting introduces Boreal, a new group of outdoor decorative luminaires that are made from stainless steel. The Laurent Fachard designed luminaires feature a perforated mask design and have optional dichroic filters to create colorful effects. They are available in single or twin-light configurations and have an internal metal halide CDM lamp module constructed of aluminum with a clear acrylic lens. The fixtures use 70, 100 and 150 watt ED17 metal halide lamps, they have an IP-66 rating and offers a high degree of protection for dust and dirt ingress.
Boreal luminaires are available in three shade patterns: foliage mesh, branches mesh, and circles mesh. Schréder poles and brackets are offered in sand blast, textured black and a variety of standard RAL colors, as well as custom colors.
The Boreal is 33.1 inches tall with a diameter of 24 inches. Schréder also offers Owlet, a wireless control system for monitoring, controlling, metering and managing Boreal and other street and area luminaires while reducing energy use and maintenance costs.
