La Quinta, Ca.- The Department of Water Resources' Southern District Recently installed a new CIMIS station in the City of La Quinta, in Riverside County, with assistance from the Coachella Valley Water District.

More new stations will installed in the near future in the City of Atascadero in northern San Luis Obispo County and at the Torrey Pines Golf Course in the City of San Diego. San Luis Obispo County for Atascadero, Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, and City of San Diego for Torrey Pines provided assistance for these new installations.
