New Categories to Include Landscape Architects and Designers in the Concrete Decor Design Competition

The American Residential Design Awards (ARDA) recently announced new categories for the Concrete Decor Design Competition, which was developed to recognize and encourage excellence in designing and building with architectural and decorative concrete and related materials.

Home Office/Studio and Workshop Design ?EUR??,,????'?????<

Outdoor Living ?EUR??,,????'?????<

Kitchen Design & Fabrication ?EUR??,,????'?????<

This is the first year landscape architects and designers have the opportunity to gain recognition from The American Institute of Building Design for an outdoor living project that incorporates concrete design.

The 2012 ARDA - Concrete Decor Award Winners will be recognized at the AIBD national convention on Wednesday, August 8th 2012, in Wilmington, N.C. Entries must be submitted on or before Thursday, May 31st 2012. The application is available online at www.residentialdesignawards.com

Professional quality photography is required for the entry. A media release is required giving ARDA and Concrete Decor publication rights for photos. The eligibility period in which projects were completed will be longer for the first year. A fee will be charged for each submission to handle administrative costs. The first three entries: Members $125 each; Non-members $190 each. Additional entries: Members $95 each; Non-members $140 each.
