The results of our 4 year research project for the U.S. Navy, examining the phenomenon of native landscape fire resistance, will be discussed, as well as actual case histories with photos.

The AGZA workshop will cover impacts of conventional landscape maintenance practices, current regulations, and grant opportunities. It will also introduce the basics of transitioning landscape maintenance operations from intensive gas-powered machinery to lower impact technologies which includes battery, electric, robotics, and human powered devices.
