RALEIGH, N.C. - The North Carolina State University College of Design and Sarah P. Duke Gardens will be holding a symposium on April 5 and 6.
The symposium, called Laying the Groundwork, will feature five noted Landscape Architects; Mai Arbegast, Angela Danadjieva, Carol Franklin, Diane McGuire and Cornelia
Hahn Oberlander.
A wide range of themes will be explored at the symposium. The themes include the culture of the design profession, vocations and evocation of place, as well as the role vegetation serves as a manifestation of reality in a world of constant growth, change and decay.
