ALEXANDRIA, Va. ?EUR??,,????'??? Joseph M. Good, III, President of the National Council on Qualifications for the Lighting Professions recently announced that 209 lighting practitioners sat for the 2002 exam. With a pass rate of 78.5 percent, the roster of lighting certified individuals has been increased by 154 full Lighting Certifications and 10 Intern Lighting Certifications. The LC class of 2002 now brings the total number of LCs to 1,127.Thirty six percent of those who have sat for the LC exam over the past three years identify themselves as lighting designers/consultants. The two next largest groups are electrical engineers at 16 percent and manufacturer?EUR??,,????'???s representatives and sales representatives at 12 percent.
