Nationwide Transportation Projects are Under Way

“We fully understand that the economic recession is causing considerable pain in all areas of the country, but the investments being made by our state DOTs in transportation projects through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act are part of the solution, not the problem,?EUR??,,????'?? said Horsley. ?EUR??,,????'??In the five months that have past since the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act was signed into law, $16.7 billion in projects have been approved for funding. Nearly two thousand projects are currently under construction in 46 states, the District of Columbia and on federal lands.
