NALP Recognizes 131 Projects Nationwide

The National Association of Landscape Professionals Presents its Annual Award of Excellence Awards Presentation

The National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP) represents more than 100,000 landscape professionals.

The National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP) presided over its annual nationally recognized Award of Excellence awards presentation on October 20th 2016. This awards presentation honors excellence in the areas of landscape, lawn care, interior maintenance, design/build as well as installation, container plantings, and erosion control.

This year's awards presentation was held during LANDSCAPES 2016, one of the largest landscape and lawn care industry educational and networking events in the country. Of the 131 projects recognized, three projects were awarded the highest possible honors, also known as the Judges' Award.

Winners of the prestigious Judges' Award included Bonick Landscaping (Dallas, Texas), Dennis' 7 Dees Landscaping and Garden Centers (Portland, Oregon), and Town and Gardens, Ltd. (Long Island City, New York) Award recipients were hand selected by the panel judging the awards presentation.

"NALP is honored to showcase and promote such great examples of professionalism and dedication to our craft." said NALP President, Brett Lemcke, Landscape Industry Certified.

While the judges had their pick, audience members in attendance had the opportunity to pick their favorite. Attendees viewed videos of the three award winning projects then selected their favorite. The audience chose Dennis' 7 Dees Landscaping as their favorite by awarding the firm the Audience Choice Award.
