NALP Launches New Online Portal for Awards of Excellence

NALP, the voice of 100,000 landscape and lawn care industry professionals, has opened entries for the annual Awards of Excellence.

The National Association of Landscape Professionals is pleased to announce that entries for the 2015 Awards of Excellence are now being accepted through a new online portal, making it much easier to apply for and market awards.

The online registration includes an intuitive registration and payment process, easy photo submissions, and a gallery component that automatically develops a personal web page for each submission, making it easy to market award winning projects to prospective clients.

The Awards of Excellence program is the largest awards program in the industry, showcasing projects that exemplify professionalism in landscape design/build, installation and contracting, landscape management, lawn care and interior maintenance as well as erosion control and ecological restoration, special events and interior plantings.

Awards are given out in the recognition, merit, grand, and judge's categories. Entries are due by Aug. 3, with early-bird entries receiving an application discount if they apply by July 3.

"It is important for companies to promote the great work that they do," said Dennis Karem, chair of NALP's award subcommittee. "These incredible landscaping projects improve our environment, and the awards recognize quality landscape work, reward skilled professionals and encourage contractors to continue their efforts to raise the industry's image."

The awards will be presented in person at the awards dinner, Thursday, Oct. 22, during the annual education conference, LANDSCAPES 2015 (formerly the Green Industry Conference) in Louisville, Kentucky.
