The Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) has named James G. Toscas as president. Toscas is taking over this position from retiring Thomas Battles, who led the group for the past 16 years. Les Gehrels was elected president of the Iowa Nursery and Landscape Association for 2003. Gehrels is a native of Minnesota and graduated from South Dakota State University in 1972 he graduated with a BS in Horticulture Business. ?EUR??,,????'???? Larry Thalmann III has been re-elected as president of the Mid-America Horticultural Trade Show Board of Directors. Randy Jasperson returns as vice president of the board and John Hendricksen was re-elected as treasurer. Kurt Meyer was re-elected as secretary and elected to serve another three-year term on the board. In addition, Greg Oltman was reappointed to serve another three-year term on the board.
