The Portland Cement Association has appointed Edward J. Sullivan as chief economist in the economic research department. Sullivan is responsible for tracking and forecasting trends in the economy that affect the cement and construction industry both for the United States and Canada. ?EUR??,,????'???? Jennifer Ryder Fox, Cal Poly soil science alumna, has been appointed to head the university?EUR??,,????'???s Horticulture and Crop Science Department. Fox is the former vice president of regulatory affairs and technical development at AgraQuest Inc., a biopesticide company that discovers and develops crop protection products from microbial fermentation. Fox earned her master?EUR??,,????'???s degree and doctorate from New Mexico State University. William J.
