Brett Lord has joined Nowell and Associates as a landscape designer/project manager. The San Diego, Calif.-based firm has also hired Jan Blankenship as an irrigation designer. Edsall and Associates, LLC, a Columbus, Ohio-based landscape architecture and planning firm, has named Gordon Berkebile an associate of the firm. Berkebile brings more than 10 years of experience in educational facilities and urban design to the firm. TBG Partners, a landscape architecture and land planning firm, has announced the additions of Mandy Tynan and Daniel Woodroffe. Tynan is a landscape designer who earned an M.L.A. degree from Texas A&M University. Woodroffe is a graduate of the master?EUR??,,????'???s program at Heriot Watt University and is lead designer and project manager; both are based in the company?EUR??,,????'???s Austin, Texas office. Alex Garcia, RA, principal and co-founder of El Taller Colaborativo, PC, has received the New York State Federation of Hispanic Chambers of Commerce Northeast Region 2003 businessman of the year award. Garden Concepts of Glenview, Ill., received the first place award in the $75,000 and up category for the Association of Professional Landscape Design awards. Garrity brings almost 20 years of experience to the San Clemente, Calif.-based firm. Schoor DePalma has named Stephen Schreiber, P.E., C.M.E, as principal of the firm. Greg Jones has been promoted to project manager within the residential team at ColeJenest and Stone, P.A. Jones, who joined the firm in 1999, has served as a project landscape architect. David J. Feldman has been appointed president of Cooper Lighting, Inc. Feldman joined Cooper Lighting, Inc. from Holcim (US) Inc., where he was senior vice president, marketing and sales from 2001. Exmark Manufacturing recently promoted Mark Stinson to president and CEO of the Beatrice, Neb.-based company. South Florida lighting manufacturer Luraline Products Company has added several new sales agencies in the South and on the West Coast. The Lighting Association of San Diego (SDLA) will represent Luraline in San Diego and Imperial counties in southern California. In addition, ArchLume of New Orleans, La., will represent Luraline in the southern Louisiana market to its client base of lighting specifiers, contractors, distributors and end users. Finally, Sesco Lighting will represent Luraline throughout Georgia from its offices in Norcross and Savannah. Polaris Pool Systems, Inc., has announced the promotion of Eric Kownacki to president and chief executive officer.
